Relay For LifeIt's time for Relay for Life 2010!!! Can you believe it? The Relay is going to be July 16. We have LOTS of great and exciting things planned for this year. I hope you will sign up to be a part of our Team! We need ALL the help we can get. Please join us in the fight against cancer!!!

This year's Relay theme is "Lights, Camera, Cure." Each campsite will be decorated in the theme of movies. We have chosen the classic "Grease" as our theme! We need T-Birds and Pink Ladies alike!! :)
We have many great fundraising events scheduled (all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society) so even if you can't be a part of the team, be sure to watch the bulletin and announcements to see what all is coming up.

FLAMINGOS FLOCK TO NEW VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH
Here’s how it works:
1) Place an order with a member of our Relay for Life team to have our flock of purple flamingos land in your “friend’s” yard (or family member, enemy, neighbor, co-worker, pastor, SS teacher…..) Cost is $15 for one yard or 2 yards for $25.
2) The flock will light in their yard until the recipient donates $10 for them to fly away
3) Recipients may also donate $10 for flock insurance to ensure the flock does not return to their yard
Bird watchers predict the flock will be in the New Victory Baptist Community for the entire month of March. See a Relay team member today to order your destination! Destination recipients do not have to be a member of NVBC.
Disclaimers: Please do not send us somewhere we will get shot. Big dogs may scare away the flock before they land.
